I spent my morning sorting A8 and A9 into a total of 43 and 35 folders respectively. Getting the folders down to manageably browsable, and distinct topics.The baseball films were organized by topic/team and year, including high school, college, semi-pro and amateur, all the way up to professional leagues. In the afternoon, I renumbered these two rolls, then finished baseball and started in on basketball with roll A10.
Highlight of my day: a researcher was asking about Bexley High School Baseball records from 1930-1960 and I was able to show him the typed and searchable digital files I had created a few weeks ago, that he could use to get some of the information he wanted.
