The new reports have fold-out fire reports, which, while very interesting, are over-sized, and problematic for the OCR process. So there was a lot more re-sizing to work on today. I completed two and a half, more years, I was still having trouble with a few files in the 1880-81 when I finished the day. The 1883-4 files are all too big, so Aaron is going to batch-edit those for me.
I also worked on changing the thumbnails, so that each object now shows the title page instead of the plain, green cover. This makes the collection more visually appealing to the casual browser.
At the end of the day, I set a batch-import of the rest of the completed books, with the hope of saving some time next Wednesday, however, incorrect image sizes are still a worry.
