Day 18 at Otterbein

Hours: 7.5 Total Hours: 135

I met with Jane to start my Tuesday, we went over yet more troubles with the Physics papers that I had uploaded. This week, I need to fix dates and CCLs – add dates to the conference citations, expand publication dates to months and days if I can, and make sure the CCL is accurate. So, I did this for both the physics and the biology papers.

There was one more DC Use response, so I updated that report again. Then I did some tweaking . I fixed some of the larger charts’ labels for readability. I made sure the colors for Yes/No answers were the same throughout the document. I made sure that the tallest bars also had the same color schemes throughout. And I proofed and formatted all the text boxes.

In the afternoon, I had my last usability test. I typed up all remaining sessions. I also created docs for each question on the usability test and collated responses from all testers, for ease of evaluation.

I also attended a reception for the Library’s Featured Faculty, where they spoke about their displays, and we had cider and cookies.

At the end of the day, I typed up my collection development work from Monday. I also checked on two books that were not on my list that I noted were in pretty bad shape, and found they were both readily available as ebooks in the system. I brought these two books down to Jane for our closing meeting.
